  • Matcha for me and coffee latte for my friend. Nothing like catching up with the ones you love! She’s not on insta but lives to scroll my feed, on my phone! Do you have a friend that you don’t speak to all the time but when you are together, it’s like no time has passed? That happens to be a staple in my sphere and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I had just read @theskinnyconfidential ’s post about not fitting into societal boxes, in some random expectation that doesn’t speak to us that doesn’t gel with our authentic self. We think-F that! She is so right! I have been thinking about all the amazing women I have met lately that are now my community of goto biz beauties. We are all fantastic, all of us , with our messy top knots and ripped leggings, kids eating crap for lunch, not doing homework and making us crazy. It’s our mess that is our beauty, our superpower. Let’s get this HUSTLE going, it is why we do what we do. Bring our special message to the world. Mine today? Show me your mess and I’ll show you mine! .....................................I am so far from not messy, my kids told me this morning that they have been eating too much “crap” and want me to go back to making sheet pan chicken for dinner. My reaction? Ok! On the inside I was jumping up and down. They really get what I’ve been trying to show them for 16 yrs. but when they got home from practice they both looked at dinner and said they wanted “something that tasted good!” Hubby and I enjoyed what I made. I have no idea what they actually ate. Whatever!   • "Clean Cocktails" are what I recommend to help end of week in a heathy and Happy way! Try my favorite, Meyer Lemonade. Stop by my house on your travels and I'll fill up your glass. Meyer Lemons are a cross between a regular lemon and a mandarin orange. The sweet flavors make this pitcher drink go down easy. Serves: 6-8 Recommended Barware: Pitcher  5 Meyer lemons, zested  1 cup Meyer lemon juice  1 cup honey syrup  3 cups vodka 1.   • Was lucky enough to get a table @zahavrestaurant last night. I have all the chefs cookbooks at home and so happy for them. The @beardfoundation anointed Best Restaurant in America! The food was so good by teenager told me, “Mom, it’s like I’ve never tasted food before!” It’s hard to get a table, but if you go at 4 and wait on line till 5 you can get a seat by the bar or at the chefs table. Try the cocktails too. @jimbeanzofficial and lemonade with mint. Check out my story for all the food. If your in Philadelphia you have to go!   • Whenever I see anyone in the armed forces I honestly get choked up, I say “thank you”, to them for their service or buy their coffee/meal. I feel like it means something, it shows them that they do make a difference and those of us at home care about them. My grandfather served in WW2 and every year he would stand outside the supermarket selling little red poppies to raise funds for veterans. He passed in 1991 and every year since then I buy out whatever the veteran has at my local store. Think about buying some as you go and buy your groceries. This year let’s all be grateful that these brave men and women stand up for our freedoms.
