I don’t love the hummus you buy at the market, so I tried to make my own. Now I make it all the time because my kids eat it so fast there are never leftovers. Try it for your family today.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 17 ounces can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika to top hummus
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 17 ounces can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika to top hummus
Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients into a Vitamix or high-speed blender, and turn on high till smooth and creamy. Add more of the tahini, lemon juice, salt, garlic, to match your taste.

- Top with sweet paprika plus a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with cut veggies and warm pita bread triangles. Great on sandwiches to replace mayo too.
