I’m frustrated! I’ve been putting in the work and the results are not what I want. This is one of the themes in my life lately, I love to put in the work but I don’t want to wait and wait for results. Like Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka- “Don’t care how, I want it now”. I know, not realistic but it’s my truth.
I am stronger, have more energy, I’m sleeping better .
This Friday marks one month that I’ve been working with Solution Fitness and there are results. I met with Joe on Monday he measured and weighted me. So fun! I lost 2.5 inches overall and ONE pound. I realize that I am working on resetting my metabolism and it will be worth it this summer. As I would tell my clients; “your body is working on getting ready to release the stored fat in your body and when it does, it will just come off”. I’ve seen it happen many times. It’s just so much harder when it comes to ME. That’s why I have Joe, he asked me what has changed. That’s not something that I am ever asked but I do ask my clients almost every day.
I am stronger, have more energy, I’m sleeping better .
I am just going to keep move forward. I have added cardio to the days I am not at Solution Fitness, to enhance the program they have customized for me. Plus I want it NOW! Joe is all over it. He has a program for the cardio that will complement what I am already doing. So cool! I really feel like I have a team of expert fitness pros working in my corner. Is this what it feels like to be a celebrity???
I did almost hit Joe in the head with a 10lb weight this morning but it’s all good, no contact! Solution Fitness is the first “gym” that I can’t wait to go to. I have always had a love-hate relationship with the gym. I like the feeling of working out but the facilities, the people plus the smell. UGH! I hated when you put your mat down to stretch and there are hairballs and yuck everywhere. My Germaphobia is heightened in the gym. But not Solution Fitness, clean, bright and smells normal. Plus the women I work out with are great; they have all been with Joe for years and are happy. No attitudes and all supportive, we are all trying to be healthy, right? I love the fact that I feel like I am a part of a community that I am not leading.
Feeling better is huge, I say this a lot: “You don’t know how bad you feel until you feel better”. I am so aware of my own body that I had to make a dynamic change. Having my community learn what it is like to feel better; is why I do this work. I’m passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and sharing it with you.
Love,
Beth
