Last week, Andrew, the hubby, and I hit the Summer Fancy Food Show at the Jacob K. Javits Conference Center in New York City. We tasting everything from flavored ketchup to Moonshine to dehydrated broccoli bites. We flew thru the aisles looking and tasting at so many amazing products all the while searching for a food product like our own. We found NONE, but what we did find where amazing people with engaging stories and tasty products.
At the show there were huge halls filled with medium to larger companies from all over the world. But to one side and another a bit down the hall, that’s where the entrepreneurs were stacked. The real people who are tirelessly working hard to bring their brands and products to market. There were definite food trends; a lot of tea, ginger and spices. I loved talking to them all and below are some of their stories.
EPIC bar is a 100% grass fed animal based protein bar designed as nature intended.
This is Kate, I asked her why she started her company? Her answer, found a whole in the marketplace that she needed filled and filled it herself. Congrats to Epic Bar for placing as a finalist in the Specialty Food Association’s 2015 sofi™ Award competition. Don’t you love her rustic booth backdrop? It most definitely fits in well with the vibe of Beth’s Blueprint. Visit www.epicbar.com for more information.
